After a difficult start to the day–basically, I didn’t want to do anything–I managed to straighten myself out. I managed to find the right attitude. I started to feel better.
Stepping outside, I headed for Ruler while listening to some music on my cellphone. The Electric Light Orchestra (a.k.a. ELO) was playing. In the late ’70s/early ’80s ELO was one of my favorite groups. A few months ago, out of sense of teenage nostalgia, I bought a CD of their greatest hits and copied it on my cellphone. This morning, while I was walking, the sky was partly cloudy. The temperature was pleasantly warm, and I was feeling good.
Then ELO’s “Mr. Blue Sky” starting playing.
